ELECTRONIC TECHNICIAN COMMUNICATIONS (E-5 ETN2)

U.S. Navy – 12/68 to 7/73.

Managed an RF (HF, VHF, UHF) communication equipment repair lab for 2 years in Argentia Newfoundland, Canada.

Served one year in-country in South Vietnam maintaining RF communications systems for five small remote bases in the Delta area.

Designed a digital ttl logic remote traffic-intersection monitoring system.

Obtained FCC First Class Radio Telephone License before leaving the service. My plan was to work as a radio or television broadcast station licensed engineer while going to college. That never happen.
