Naval Air Station Argentia, Newfoundland, Canada.
I thought I was going to Argentina when I first got my orders while in South Vietnam.
No this place is as close to Europe in the North American continent as you can get.
It was a huge base in WWII but was now all but decommissioned based from 30,000 down to 300.
All we had to do was take care of the aircraft communications, TACAN, ship to shore communications and base radar.
This was the first electronics group I worked with at Argentia.
This is the second group except Ed Lewshenski on the right.
